Whenever we examine something, the narrowing of our focus necessarily excludes all but the subject of our attention. While this may yield useful fragments of information, it also creates distortion in our vision and understanding. All things are inseparable facets of the universe. If we fail to see them in a way that reveals the true context of their existence, we fail to discover the truth about them. Just as a biopsy cannot reveal the entirety of an organism, a narrow focus cannot reveal the truth. Truth is never parceled, fragmented, or separate from any aspect of the universe.
If we wish to see the truth of anything, we must place it in the center of our attention and expand our awareness to include all that is present. When we look at nothing in particular, we see the truth of everything.
