Infinitesimally small particle waves of energy travel nearly a hundred million miles before striking a surface and bouncing off it. They then pass through a tiny hole in our bodies and set off a chain of neurological events. Our awareness of this makes us believe that we have experienced whatever that energy bounced off. We say we saw it, implying and believing that we directly experienced the form whose surface was struck by the energy, as though it had been present in our brain and there was physical contact between us.
This is clearly an illusion. Our bodies see nothing but light, and we experience nothing but our nervous system, albeit a valid representation. Seeing God doesn’t work this way. Light does not bounce off God. God is the source of the radiance. The energy that is radiated is not visible light, it is infinitely more brilliant. The radiance of God does not illuminate; it permeates without shadow.
When you see God, it is your non-physical being that experiences the irradiation. There is nothing so true, nothing so beautiful, and nothing so perfectly love. You can see God. If you do, it will be the end of a blindness that you never knew existed.
