Each of us has a resonance, a frequency of being. This is a variable quality and it can be changed consciously or simply allowed to echo mood and thought. The higher this frequency becomes, the more available we are for the experiencing of all that lies beyond the reach of our knowledge. The first step in elevating the frequency of our being is to think a final thought that will put our mind into a pleasant state of stillness. This thought should neutralize any sense of responsibility or necessary action that we may harbor. It should also dissolve any belief that we cannot comfortably spend the rest of eternity in the precise spot and moment we now occupy. This final thought should be a kind of punctuation that marks both the beginning of stillness, and the replacement of all our usual activities with an expansive and impartial awareness. My choice for this final thought is “There is nothing else I need to do, and no place else I need to go.” If you can convince yourself that from this moment on you will forever be blissfully at rest, you will feel an immediate change in the quality of your being.
The next step in elevating your frequency is to experience yourself, with absolute certainty, as a perfect being. You must fill yourself with the sense that you are immaculate and holy, compassionate and gentle. You must feel that you will bask in this perfection for eternity without care or purpose, without want or need, free of stain and filled with love. If you can do this, you will feel like the most perfect creature that has ever taken human form. This is the threshold of the unknown and all that is truly sacred.
Most of us could never imagine ourselves as a truly perfect being . This is a character flaw of humanity. Because we create and instill ideals, because we compare ourselves to these ideals, and because we remember our shortcomings and failures, we believe we are flawed and the resonance of our being is maintained at a lower level. This process of diminution is the result of our continuum of thought. This belief in one’s imperfection is a barrier to the discovery of that which is truly divine.
This is not a call for vain delusion or false pride, it is a means for eliminating barriers and obstructions, limitations and handicaps. It is the way forward into the realm where truth can be seen.
