See God        (face to face)

    I maintain no beliefs regarding the unknown and have no religious affiliations or activities.  I do not interpret things I cannot explain, and I do not accept any phenomenon or experience at face value.  I have no interest in belief systems or the zeal others may have for them.  My only interest is the universe we are each part of, and the exploration of it with unbiased and acute awareness.  I consider thought and emotion to be both enriching in our lives, and to also be  obstacles in the discovery of truth.  My writing is limited to things that I have personally discovered, tested, and found irrefutable.  I encourage all others to do the same, employing the highest standards and most critical challenges when they do so.

     The subjects I write about on this website have traditionally been the purview of religions or otherwise described spiritual disciplines.  I often write things that go beyond the claims of many mainstream belief systems and spiritual practices.  It is my hope that no one ever uses anything I have written to form the basis of a belief, or to support or augment an existing one. Truth must be experienced first hand, face to face, and in this moment.  That includes the truth of God. 

   I do not believe, speculate, imagine, or suspect.  I have no interest in internal experiences such as feelings, ideas, or epiphanies.  My interests are beyond the self, not within it, and I am diligent in not mistaking one for the other.

   I am an avid hiker and photographer; I cook and write. My heroes are my sons and daughters. My best friend is both my true love, and the other side of my soul.
